- The Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC) is a state agency that assists in implementing many housing programs. The MHDC administers the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program, which creates affordable rental housing within the state. - USDA Rural Development Multifamily Housing - the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development (RD) Multifamily Rental Assistance Program provides payments to owners of USDA-financed projects on behalf of low-income tenants unable to pay their full rent. - The Office of Native American Programs can help connect you with loan guarantees, grants and other programs to assist in housing and community development needs.
- The Davis-Bacon and Related Acts apply to contractors and subcontractors performing on federally funded or assisted contracts in excess of $2,000 for the construction, alteration, or repair (including painting and decorating) of public buildings or public works.
