Youth Homelessness Program
Overview
Addressing youth homelessness requires a community approach that includes a variety of partners and approaches that address housing needs; services related to health, substance use disorders, domestic violence and barriers to employment; and infrastructure to ensure efficient delivery of resources. The Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) and Youth Homelessness System Improvement (YHSI) Grants are HUD’s primary programs to address youth homelessness.
