FHA's pre-recorded training webinars and information offers FHA-approved mortgagees and other stakeholders in FHA transactions the ability to learn about FHA policies, programs, and technology at their own pace.

The self-paced, pre-recorded training webinars listed below provide an overview of the policies contained in the Single Family Housing Policy Handbook 4000.1 (Handbook 4000.1) for all Single Family products and programs. Following are the available Handbook 4000.1 training modules. New and/or updated modules will be posted as needed. Check back for future availability.

To view an archived webinar, click below on "Access Module" for the webinar you wish to view, and you will be directed to the selected webinar's landing page. Once there, select "Register Here" (preferably using the Chrome browser), and provide your registration information. Then click "Register," located at the bottom of the page. You then will be redirected to your selected webinar where you will need to click the triangular "Start" icon.

Audio transcripts are also available. Once you register and launch the webinar, the audio transcript is automatically displayed on the right side of the presentation.

FHA Single Family Housing Policy Handbook (Handbook 4000.1) Overview (Pre-recorded on 11/28/2023): This pre-recorded webinar walks stakeholders through the structure and style of Handbook 4000.1, as well as helps users understand its benefits, where to access it online, how to read Mortgagee Letters in context, and how to locate content updates.

Home Equity Conversion Mortgages (HECM) Origination and Servicing Overview (Pre-recorded on 12/6/2023): This pre-recorded webinar focuses on the newest and final Handbook 4000.1 section, HECM mortgagees, servicers, and other interested parties will be provided with an overview of the section's style and structure, which is consistent with the rest of Handbook 4000.1. Viewers will be able to identify the benefits of the HECM publication, understand, and implement the new HECM policy highlighted in this training.
