FHA is pleased to offer the following events and training, including a series of pre-recorded training modules, covering multiple topics on FHA Single Family Housing policies, processes, and technology.

SF Handbook Pre-Recorded Training Webinars. This series of pre-recorded training webinars cover the policies that mortgagees use for origination through obtaining a FHA insurance endorsement for Title II forward mortgages. The modules provide an overview of the policies and requirements contained in Sections II.A and II.D of FHA's Origination through Post-Closing/Endorsement for Title II Forward Mortgages section of the Single Family Housing Policy Handbook 4000.1.

February 20, and February 21, 2020, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Mountain) â€“ FHA Lender Training  Representatives from the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) will conduct a free, two-day, on-site, instructor-led training that will cover a wide range of topics including: recent FHA's Single Family Housing Policy Handbook 4000.1 updates; underwriting the FHA appraisal; endorsement protocols; and Q&As on the new condominium approval process and procedures, including Single-Unit Approvals. Registration required. No fee.

February 26, 2020, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM (Eastern) â€“ FHA Quality Assurance Update: Q1 2020  This free, online webinar will provide an update on the Federal Housing Administration's (FHA) quality assurance results for the most recent quarter, as well as specific information on how lenders can access reports and data through the Loan Review System (LRS). There will also be a live Question and Answer session at the end of the webinar. Registration required. No fee.

March 17, 2020, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Central) â€“ FHA Credit Underwriting Training This free, on-site training will provide an overview of FHA underwriting procedures and address various industry-related frequently asked questions (FAQs) related to FHA's Single Family Housing Policy Handbook 4000.1. This training will also take an in-depth look at a variety of topics including: credit, income, and asset (CIA) documentation; manual underwriting; automated underwriting systems (AUS); endorsement protocols; the Loan Review System (LRS); and more. Registration required. No fee.

March 18, 2020, 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM (Eastern) â€“ FHA Appraisals Training This free, half-day, on-site training will cover FHA appraisal requirements, including appraisal protocols and updates to appraisal policy as outlined in the Single Family Housing Policy Handbook 4000.1. Discussions include policy changes and clarifications, and updates on other topics including: property acceptability; underwriting the appraisal; minimum property requirements; property defects; enhanced appraiser and underwriter responsibilities and requirements, programs and products (e.g., 203(k)); and much more. Registration required. No fee.

Electronic Class (EClass) on FHA Loss Mitigation & Servicing System: The EClass System provides additional training on FHA's Loss Mitigation Programs, including FHA's Home Affordable Modification Program (FHA-HAMP), as well as continuing education on loss mitigation & servicing issues that have generated the most industry questions & requests for further training. The EClass System is designed to provide web-based training to HUD-Approved Servicers, HUD-Approved & Nonprofit Housing Counseling Agencies. Find out more...
