Updated SF Handbook Pre-Recorded Training Webinars. This series of nine pre-recorded training webinars cover the policies that mortgagees use for origination through obtaining a FHA insurance endorsement for Title II forward mortgages. The modules provide an overview of the policies and requirements contained in Sections II.A and II.D of FHA's Origination through Post-Closing/Endorsement for Title II Forward Mortgages section of the Single Family Housing Policy Handbook 4000.1.
August 14, 2019, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Eastern) – FHA Underwriting Workshop Training – Atlanta, GA This free, on-site training will focus on providing hands-on-training in which underwriters will be given the ability to apply policy from the Single Family Housing Policy Handbook 4000.1 to fictional scenarios. Training scenarios include: rate and term refinance, cash-out refinance, simple refinance, and purchase transactions. Registration required. No fee.
August 14, 2019, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Central) – FHA Appraisal Training – Ft. Worth, TX This free, on-site training will cover FHA appraisal requirements, including FHA appraisal protocol and updates to FHA appraisal policy as outlined in FHA's Single Family Housing Policy Handbook 4000.1. This training also takes an in-depth look at a variety of appraisal-related topics including: property acceptability criteria; minimum property requirements; property defects; appraiser responsibilities and requirements; and, much more. August 20, 2019, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Mountain) – FHA Credit Underwriting Training – Casper, WY This free, on-site training will provide an overview of FHA underwriting procedures and addresses various industry-related frequently asked questions (FAQs) related to FHA's Single Family Housing Policy Handbook 4000.1. This training will also take an in-depth look at a variety of topics, including: credit, income, and asset (CIA) documentation; manual underwriting; automated underwriting systems (AUS); closing; and more. August 21, 2019, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM (Eastern) – FHA Quality Assurance Update This free, online webinar will provide an update of the Federal Housing Administration's (FHA) quality assurance results for the most recent quarter, as well as specific information on indemnifications. Electronic Class (EClass) on FHA Loss Mitigation & Servicing System: The EClass System provides additional training on FHA's Loss Mitigation Programs, including FHA's Home Affordable Modification Program (FHA-HAMP), as well as continuing education on loss mitigation & servicing issues that have generated the most industry questions & requests for further training.
