Provides HUD Foreclosure Relief to Texans Impacted by Flash Floods
WASHINGTON - On Friday, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Scott Turner joined President Trump in a visit to Kerr County, Texas and surrounding areas to survey the damage and provide support to hurting families and first responders on the ground.
Prior to the visit, Secretary Turner announced a 90-day foreclosure moratorium on Federal Housing Administration (FHA)-insured single-family mortgages and provided other administrative flexibilities to those in the Presidentially Declared Disaster Area. These actions will help provide American individuals and families resources to rebuild their lives.
Secretary Turner joins President Trump and federal, state, and local officials in Kerr County, Texas.

Secretary Turner opened the recent Cabinet meeting in a prayer for the victims of the tragic flash floods and the first responders conducting search and rescue missions.
