Welcome to the HUD Direct Distribution Center

HUD's Direct Distribution Center provides documents to the public, HUD clients, and employees. Materials distributed include publications, handbooks, forms, posters; and mortgagee letters, ethics letters, Title 1 letters, and labor relations letters.

Most items can be viewed on-line and are available to download 24 hours per day. Some items must be mailed and will arrive in 7 to 10 business days.

Accept ChangesConfirms the changes you made on this order entry screen. Changes must be accepted before you may proceed.
All Order Information (including) Internet OrdersProvides the details of all orders placed using the Internet order form and the HUD Customer Service Center.
CarrierVendor that transports shipments.
Code 63This item is currently under review. No orders are being taken for this item at this time.
Confirmation NumberSystem generated order number provided when orders are placed over the Internet. The Confirmation Number is used to check order status through the Internet.
Directive NumberRefers to the HUD directed numeric or alpha-numeric designation assigned to a specific item.
HUD Client NumberCustomers frequently ordering information from the Customer Service Center can request a unique client number to eliminate entering their name and address for each order. Frequent users can obtain a unique client number by calling (800) 767-7468.
Internet Order ConfirmationProvides the details orders placed via the Internet order form.
Item NumberRefers to the numeric designated stock number assigned to specific item.
Item(s) on BackorderItems requested that are not in stock at this time. Backordered items will be automatically shipped to you when they are restocked.
KeywordAny identifying unique word or number that can be used to search for item(s) in the HUD Direct Distribution on-line Catalog.
No Data FoundSystem message response when insufficient information is either provided by the customer or no data is available from the ordering system. Supplemental instructions are provided for further customer action.
Order NumberNumber which is assigned to a customer's order, placed through the Internet, and processed by the HUD Customer Service Center. The Order Number may also be used in lieu of confirmation number in checking orders over the Internet or through HUD Customer Service Center.
Package(s) ProcessedThe number of packages shipped.
Unit of IssueHow an item is distributed. For example, each package, box, etc.
Status - CancelledOrders cancelled per client request or cancelled due to our inability to process.
Status - In ProcessOrder submitted by client for processing by the HUD Customer Service Center.
Status - MailedDate Order shipped.
Status - OrderedOrder has been accepted by the HUD Customer Service Center.
Status - SubmittedOrder being reviewed and processed by the HUD Customer Service Center.
