The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has shut down due to the lapse in appropriations.

Most HUD staff are prohibited from working; however, some pre-determined excepted functions will continue.

Please refer to HUD’s Contingency Plan, including the Stakeholder Questions and Answers section for information about specific HUD Programs.
