FHA CATALYST: SINGLE FAMILY DEFAULT MONITORING SYSTEM REPORTING MODULE

The FHA Catalyst: Single Family Default Monitoring System (SFDMS) Reporting Module is HUD's system for tracking mortgagee data on defaulted mortgages until a default is resolved through reinstatement or termination. The module provides users the ability to report delinquency/default status codes that accurately reflect the severity of default and mortgagee action taken.

Beginning March 1, 2022, mortgagees are required to submit default data in the FHA Catalyst: SFDMS Reporting Module or through the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

FHA Catalyst Onboarding
Mortgagees that previously requested module access automatically had their accounts set-up within the FHA Catalyst platform by February 24, 2022. FHA will no longer accept FHA Catalyst: External User Access Request Forms for SFDMS after this date.

Beginning February 24, 2022, Mortgagee Administrators began managing FHA Catalyst: SFDMS module access for their organization's users. Note, only FHA Connection (FHAC) Application Coordinators are permitted to be FHA Catalyst Mortgagee Administrators.

Mortgagees should contact their Mortgagee Administrator if they forgot their password, did not receive an account set-up email, or their registration link has expired.
