Many cities in Ohio use HUD funds to provide grants and loans that help low and moderate income homeowners maintain their homes.

Local Community Development Corporations (CDC's) also provide rehabilitation assistance. The Ohio CDC Association has a listing of members throughout Ohio.

HUD provides money to the State of Ohio, which passes them on to smaller communities that may it for housing rehabilitation. Check with the Ohio Department of Development, Ohio Development Services Agency to find out if these resources are available in your community.

Funds to weatherize the homes of low- and moderate-income persons are made available through Ohio Development Services Agency. Check the list to see where to go for your area.
