HUD ANNOUNCES JODY MOSES AS NORTH CAROLINA FIELD OFFICE DIRECTOR

ATLANTA - U.S. Housing and Urban Development Southeast Regional Administrator Denise Cleveland-Leggett, announces the selection of Jody Moses, to serve as HUD Field Office Director for North Carolina.

As the North Carolina Field Office Director, Moses will serve as HUD's liaison to mayors, city managers, county commissioners, elected representatives, state and local officials, congressional delegations, nonprofit groups, private entities, faith-based groups, other stakeholders and individual Americans. She will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of HUD programs and services to communities and individuals, as well as, evaluating their efficiency and effectiveness.

"Jody brings strong leadership and HUD programmatic experience to help those we serve in North Carolina," said Cleveland-Leggett. "She will enhance and accelerate the ongoing efforts and progress being made throughout the communities of North Carolina.”

“We have an extraordinary team of partners and HUD staff in North Carolina that I am proud to work with,” said Moses. “Together we will build on the strong legacy of fulfilling HUD’s mission and serving those throughout state especially in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence.”

Jody is a Military Veteran and also possesses over 25 years of housing industry experience combining a unique blend of public and private achievements working in public housing, community development, finance and business development as well as private sector real estate which includes; Senior Management at a Tribally Designated Housing Entity (TDHE), General Manager of a Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) specializing in mortgage loans for low to moderate income home buyers, as well as, Director of Relocation & Business Development in the private sector.  Most recently, she served with HUD as an Assessment Manager, leading HUD’s Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) inspection Standards & Data-Vouchers (ISDV) Field Team.

She is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University with a degree in Human Services.
