  • U.S. Housing Market Conditions - All national, regional, state, metropolitan, and local data and analysis of housing market conditions.
  • Comprehensive Housing Market Analysis - HUD's Economic and Market Analysis Division prepares Comprehensive Housing Market Analyses that assist and guide HUD in its operations.
    • Region 5 - Narratives, Housing Market Profiles, Market at a Glance reports, and State and Local Comprehensive Housing Market Analysis.
  • HUD User Datasets - HUD provides interested researchers with access to the original data sets generated by HUD's Office of Policy Development & Research.
  • American Housing Survey - The American Housing Survey is sponsored by HUD and conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau. The survey has been the most comprehensive national housing survey in the United States since its inception in 1973.
  • Fair market rents - Fair Market Rents (FMRs) are used to determine payment standard amounts for HUD-funded rental assistance programs.
  • Income Limits - HUD sets income limits that determine eligibility for assisted housing programs.
  • HUD Geospatial Data Storefront - One-stop shop where users can search for and discover HUD's geospatial datasets, web-based mapping tools, and application programming interfaces (APIs).

  • HUD Point-In-Time Count (PIT) and Housing Inventory Count (HIC) Data & Reports - HUD provides PIT count reports of sheltered and unsheltered persons experiencing homelessness, by household type and subpopulation. HUD also provides HIC reports, which provide a snapshot of a Continuum of Care's inventory of beds and units available on the night designated for the count by program type.
  • Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and Public Housing (PH) Data Dashboard - The Housing Choice Voucher office and the Public Housing office have created public-facing data dashboards that allow end-users to easily access various data points relevant to each office. Both dashboards can be filtered by state, Field Office, or Public Housing Agency.
  • Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) Data Dashboard - The EHV dashboard offers unprecedented transparency and accountability for this new special purpose voucher program. The dashboard provides daily updates on leasing, issuances, and unit utilization, and information on voucher awards and funding by PHA.
  • Multifamily Data - Datasets included production, limited denials of participation, physical inspection scores, contracts database, rent & utility allowances, tenant characteristics, and more.
  • RAD Resource Desk - The Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (RAD) allows proven financing tools to be applied to at-risk public and assisted housing.

  • CART – Community Assessment Reporting Tool - CART is a reference tool designed by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to display HUD's investments in communities across the United States.
