 MEMORANDUM FOR: ALL APPROVED TITLE I LENDING INSTITUTIONS

 SUBJECT: Program Integrity Bulletin
 
 The Office of the Inspector General has prepared the attached
 bulletin as part of an awareness effort in areas of the Title I
 Program that may be susceptible to fraud and abuse. In connection
 with your responsibilities under Title I we ask that you provide a
 copy of the bulletin to each of your currently approved dealers
 and all new dealers approved in the future.
 
 Complete lender and dealer requirements under the Title I
 Insured Loan Program are contained in the new Title I regulations
 which were published as a final rule on October 25, 1985 (50 FR
 43516, et seq.) and which were made effective January 15, 1986 by
 Notice published in the Federal Register on January 14, 1986
 (51 FR 1495).
