SEC-574 -- EFFECT OF FOSTER CARE CHILDREN IN DETERMINING FAMILY 

 
COMPOSITION AND SIZE.
 
 Section 3(b)(3) of the United States Housing Act of 1937 (42 U.S.C.
1437a(b)(3)), as amended by the preceding provisions of this Act, is
further amended by inserting after the period at the end the following
new sentence: "The temporary absence of a child from the home due to
placement in foster care shall not be considered in considering family
composition and family size.".
