SEC-561 -- FEASIBILITY STUDY REGARDING INDIAN TRIBE ELIGIBILITY FOR 

 
VOUCHER PROGRAM.
 
 (a) Study.-The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development shall carry
out a study to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of entering
into contracts with Indian housing authorities to provide voucher
assistance under section 8(o) of the United States Housing Act of 1937.
 
 (b) Consultation.-In carrying out the study under this section, the
Secretary shall consult with Indian housing authorities.
 
 (c) Report.-The Secretary shall submit to the Congress, not later than
the expiration of the 1-year period beginning on the date of the
enactment of this Act, a report regarding the findings and conclusions
of the Secretary as a result of the study under this section.
