SEC-560 -- REPORT ON RESIDUAL RECEIPTS ACCOUNTS IN SECTION 8 AND SECTION 

 
202 HOUSING.
 
 The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development shall conduct a study
of a statistically significant sample of housing assisted under section
8 of the United States Housing Act of 1937 and section 202 of the
Housing Act of 1959 to determine the amounts that are contained in
existing residual receipts accounts. The Secretary shall identify the
existing rules and regulations governing the permissible uses of such
accounts. Not later than 6 months after the date of enactment of this
Act, the Secretary shall submit to the Congress a detailed report
setting forth the findings of the Secretary as a result of the study.
