Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority (AMHA) currently administers approximately 4,300 public housing units and 5,400 Housing Choice Voucher units.

MTW Status

AMHA was selected as an MTW agency in 2021 through the Stepped and Tiered Rent Cohort of the MTW Expansion, which was authorized by the 2016 MTW Expansion Statute. AMHA's participation in the MTW program is through the end of its Fiscal Year 2042.
