The FY 2020 Main Street Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA) was issued on October 29, 2020 and announced approximately $1,000,000 available for award. HUD expects to make two awards under this NOFA of up to $500,000 each. The deadline for application submissions was January 19, 2021. The FY 2018 Main Street Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA) was issued on April 15, 2019 and announced approximately $1,000,000 available for award. The deadline for application submissions was July 30, 2019.  The FY 2018 Main Street NOFA is available here, without its attachments.  A list of applicants for the FY 2018 competition is available here.  The City of Batesville, AR and the City of Thomas, OK received grant awards through this competition. 

Eligible applicants are limited to Units of General Local Government (primarily subdivisions of a State) that have a population of 50,000 or fewer and 100 or fewer physical public housing units within the Local Government's jurisdiction and that are otherwise in conformance with the threshold requirements in the NOFA.

The FY 2016-2017 Main Street NOFA closed on April 12, 2016 and a grant from the NOFA was awarded on August 10, 2016. The NOFA is available on HUD’s Funds Availability page HERE, without its attachments.
