Demolition/Disposition Technical Assistance Package

Below are examples of supporting documentation that PHAs must submit as part of their demolition and disposition applications:

Offer of Sale (MS-Word, 16 KB)
In some cases, the development for which demolition/disposition or disposition activity has been proposed must be offered to the resident organization in place for that development, or to any group, which says, they represent the resident s of the development. This Offer of Sale example was prepared to assist applicants with regard to the Offer of Sale requirement, and should be modified in accordance with the conditions of each application.

Time Table (MS-Word, 32 KB)
Applications must include projected dates for significant milestones in the process, including the number of days after HUD-approval that the PHA will begin the relocation of residents and the number of days after HUD-approval that the PHA plans to complete the relocation of residents. PHAs must also include other significant projected dates in the Time Table, including the number of days after approval that the PHA plans to enter into a contract for the proposed demolition and/or disposition, as well as the number of days after HUD-approval that the PHA plans to complete the actual demolition or have the disposition closing. Progress in relation to these projected dates will be monitored by HUD and reporting to Congress. This Time Table example was prepared to assist applicants with regard to the Time Table requirement, and should be modified in accordance with the conditions of each application.

Board  Resolution (MS-Word, 12 KB)
All applications must include a Board Resolution in support of the application, dated after the last resident consultation took place, after the date of the letter(s) of support from all appropriate local government officials, and after the offer of sale, if appropriate. This Board resolution example was prepared to assist applicants with regard to the Board Resolution requirement, and should be modified in accordance with the conditions of each application.

Local Government Consultation (MS-Word,25 KB)
All applications must include evidence that the proposed action was developed in consultation with appropriate local government officials. PHAs should include a letter from each appropriate government official with jurisdiction over the affected development indicating that the local unit of government supports the proposed demolition/disposition action. If the PHA covers multiple jurisdictions, the PHA must provide a letter from each local government official with jurisdiction over the affected development. This Mayor's letter of support was prepared to assist applicants with regard to the government consultation requirement, and should be modified in accordance with the conditions of each application.
