Internal Information Collection:
EDDS extracts and stores address information in the Enterprise Data Warehouse from the following Office of Multifamily Housing databases: HEREMS, PASS, FASS, NIC-SCORE, NIC-CIDER, and NIC-SCHEDULE.
External Information Collection:
U.S. Census demographics are being collected and stored in the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
II. Why is the information being collected (e.g., to determine eligibility)?
Address information is collected from Office of Multifamily Housing databases in support of the Integrated Asset Management Assessment System.
III. How will the information be used (e.g., to verify existing data)?Multifamily Housing Asset Managers use this information to evaluate the financial and physical conditions of HUD properties.
IV. Will you share the information with others (e.g., another agency for a programmatic purpose)? If yes, list the entities.This information will be shared with HUD asset managers and Office of Housing analysts and decision makers.

EDDS collects information that is already resident in HUD transaction systems. Permission to use such information would be granted or declined during initial data entry at the transaction system level.
VI. How will the information be secured (e.g., administrative and technological controls)?The existing security plan outlines the controls in place that secures the information. Currently, the users will access the data warehouse through the Internet. The data warehouse architecture incorporates the HUD Web Access Secure Subsystem (WASS) infrastructure. Each user accesses the HUD network through their HUD user ID and assigned passwords.
VII. How will the data be retrieved (e.g., will it be retrieved by a personal identifier such as name, social security number, address, telephone number or some other identifier that is unique to an individual)?
Address data resident in EDDS is not available for public consumption. Analysts and decision makers use this information internally and gain access through a prescribed security process, i.e., login/password.
