This module improves the user experience, with streamlined “hard stop” edits and the process for submitting multiple appraisals. In addition, mortgagees and appraisal management companies can resubmit an appraisal by overriding the previous submission.

This initial EAD capability is a starting point for the future state FHA Catalyst: Property Valuation Module, which will include additional capabilities, such as:

-     The elimination of a separate appraisal logging step;
-     More granular near-real-time feedback on property eligibility and appraisal quality;
