In September 2024, HUD's Office of Disaster Recovery’s (ODR) Policy Division hosted a two-part webinar series that provided an overview of program income (PI) requirements for Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) and CDBG Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) grantees. Grantees learned how to identify and implement applicable requirements to ensure proper tracking, reporting, and expending of PI throughout the grant lifecycle.
CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT grantees are encouraged to watch both trainings in this series to better understand program income requirements and best practices.
Part 1: CDBG-DR/MIT Program Income: Definitions, Administration, and Documentation
During this session, grantees learned where to locate applicable PI definitions by grant class, how to administer PI through tracking, receipting, and disbursement actions, and how to document PI by creating a robust record keeping system.
The ODR's Policy Division hosted this webinar on September 19, 2024, from 2:00-3:30 PM EST.
