About

AHED's mission is to unite disabled employees and other interested individuals to share information; educate HUD's workforce on disability-related issues; advocate for fair and legal Departmental employment policies; and encourage and facilitate the recruitment, professional development, and retention of individuals with disabilities.

Vision

A workplace that prioritizes recruitment, hiring, development, promotion, and retention of employees with disabilities and is informed and engaged regarding disability-related laws, accommodations, and employment practices.
