HUDs Healthy Homes Initiative focuses on identifying and
addressing environmental health and safety hazards in residential
property. HUD's Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control
is working with the University Extension to provide presentations
by content experts on asthma and mold related issues associated
with housing, and the concept of integrated pest management. View
the webcast, or entities equipped to receive satellite transmissions
may register to receive the broadcast, free of charge. Broadcast
materials, and instructions for registering a site to receive the
satellite transmission may be obtained on the web.

Lender Assessment Subsystem Training -

FHA approved mortgagees, lenders, their auditors, and HUD field

statements.

This session will inform Single Family support staff and Housing
Counseling non-profit agencies about the proper recordkeeping format
and changes on the HUD 9902 form. (120 minutes)
eLOCCS for Public Housing Operating Fund Program (OFND) -
January 7, 2003
This training will help HUD Field Office staff who assist Public
Housing Authorities (PHAs) with accessing the electronic Line of
Credit Control System (eLOCCS) for the PH OpFund Program. It will
also help those who assist PHAs with drawdown requests requiring
Field Office reveiw. The previously used scheduling and payment
of operating subsidy paper form HUD-52721, Direct Disbursement Payment
Schedule Data, was eliminated as of December 30, 2002. This training
will guide Field Office staff with assisting PHAs through the the
transition. (98 minutes)
CPD Performance Measurement System Training
This webcast instructs Renewal Communities, Empowerment Zones
and Enterprise Communities on how to input project and program data
and submit annual reports.

Section 8 Contract Transfers - October 08, 2002
This course is designed for all parties with responsibilities
for Section 8 contract administration and contract administration
oversight and monitoring. The training gives participants an understanding
of roles and procedures for transferring Section 8 contract administrators
(CA) to statewide Performance-Based Contract Administrators (PBCA).
The training will also provide an understanding of other types of
contract administration transfers, such as conversion from HUD-administration
to a PBCA and from traditional CA-administered to HUD-administered.
Section 8 Special Claims - September 10, 2002
This course is for all parties responsible for Section 8 contract
administration, including Performance Based Contract Administrator’s
(PBCA’s), Project Managers and HUD Contract Administration Oversight
Monitors (CAOMs). The training provides participants with an understanding
of new policies and procedures for processing Special Claims, the
roles and responsibilities of those processing claims and an understanding
of Processing Special Claims using the Tenant Rental Assistance
Certification System (TRACS).

OMHAR's New Role in Housing, Monitoring Procedures Affecting
Properties on Watch List - November 20, 2001
This course will provide Multifamily Project Managers and PBCAs
with an overview of new guidance issued by Multifamily Housing/OMHAR
regarding properties placed on the Watch List once OMHAR has discontinued
the restructuring process. This training will also highlight ways
to improve communication between Multifamily and OMHAR and outline
the closing and post-closing process for mark-to-market properties.

The Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) is hosting this broadcast

the URAR, VC and Homebuyer Summary that have been added to the Appraisal
Logging screen in FHA Connection and ECHO. The training will provide
step-by-step instructions for entering the new information into

Project-based Section 8 contracting - January 06, 2000
This course is designed to introduce and discuss the recently
published HUD Notice 99-25, Project-based Section 8 Contracts Expiring
in Fiscal Year 2000. The Preserving Affordable Housing for Senior
Citizens and Families into the 21st Century Act of 2000 establishes
new policies for the renewal of project-based Section 8 contracts.
The Notice, which supersedes Notices H 98-34, H 99-08, and H 99-15,
provides instructions, based on policies in the new Act, for renewing
Section 8 project-based assistance contracts or stages expiring
