President Obama has announced a nationwide service initiative, "United We Serve".  This initiative is the beginning of a sustained, collaborative, and focused effort to meet community needs and make service a way of life.

The President encourages Americans to visit www.serve.gov to find and create service projects in their communities, share stories about projects they're working on.
