PH 50058s must use new dev number

After the September release all public housing 50058s should use asigned AMP development number

Aug. 24, 2009 - During the reformulation of development numbers in the spring of 2008, HUD moved your building and unit data from old eight character development numbers into new 11 character asset management groups (or new development numbers if you like). At that time we provided the ability for housing agencies to submit public housing tenant form 50058s using either old or new development numbers, informing clients that we would do so for about 12 months.

With IMS-PIC system release 6.5 in September we will no longer accept public housing form 50058s with eight character development numbers if the building/entrance/unit combination was assigned to a new development number. This change in no way affects Section 8 tenant form submissions. Low rent or combined housing agencies that have public housing units in management status that were not transitioned to a new development number should contact their field office.

50058 Summarization Incomplete

Part two of summarization process to rerun this weekend

Aug. 10, 2009 - The first part of monthly summarization ran successfully over the weekend – however the second part of monthly summarization did not execute properly and needs to be reset. Consequently, the delinquency report for Voucher Funded Assistance will not show the accurate numbers until the second part is run.

We will work on resetting the second part and then getting it to run properly on Saturday August 15th.

Secure Systems Unavailable

Systems to be Unavailable this weekend due to server maintenance

Aug. 6, 2009 - All systems will be unavailable from 6am EDT Saturday August 8, 2009 until 2pm EDT Sunday August 9, 2009 for scheduled maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Please also note that the Monthly Summarization will run as scheduled over the weekend – the first part of the summarization will run on Friday night and the second part will run on Sunday night instead of Saturday night. IMS-PIC will be available Monday morning as scheduled.

Release 6.4 this weekend

Change to monthly summarization schedule with this release

April 22, 2009 -IMS-PIC will be unavailable over the weekend of April 24 - 26, 2009 so System Release 6.4 can be installed. We anticipate that the system will be taken down at 7pm eastern on April 24th and will be up and running no later than 7am on April 27th. Any uploaded form 50058 submissions in the queue at this time will be held in suspense until the release is completed, at which time they will be processed in the order they were uploaded.

A summary of the release can be found here: Release 6.4 Summary

Starting with the month ending April 30, 2009, the monthly summarization will be scheduled to run on the first Friday on or after the 22nd of the next month instead of the first Friday of the month. This will allow for the collection of current HCV information from VMS since they have now moved to monthly instead of quarterly reporting.
