Who is responsible for submitting and maintaining the HA information?

The local public housing agencies are responsible for adding, maintaining, and updating their own information found in the HA module. Additional information such as funding and performance data comes from other HUD sources.

How often is the information updated?

The local public housing agencies will update its own information in IMS-PIC as changes occur.

Who has access to HA Profiles?

Anyone who has access to the Internet can access HA Profiles.

What information does HA Profiles provide?

HA Profiles has three categories of information:

• Details which covers agency name, program type, fiscal year end, inventory, and performance data.
• Address which covers physical and mailing addresses of the agency.
• Contact which includes phone, FAX and TTY numbers; web page and email addresses of the agency; the names of the agency’s executive director and local officials; and the cognizant HUD Field Office.

Where does the data come from?

It is pulled live from IMS-PIC. IMS-PIC in turn gathers data from other HUD databases such as REAC PHAS and financial systems.

What if I find information that is incorrect?

You should report it to the Housing Agency. If they do not correct it, call the cognizant HUD Field Office.

How can I use this information?

If you are a student, you can get comparative data from HA Profiles concerning agencies of interest. If you need housing assistance, you can identify the nearest housing agency and get address and contact information for it. As a taxpayer, you can see how well your local agency is performing.
