Erroneously Configured Row/Townhouses or Semi-Detached Structures

- -
 Information by State
 Print version

Part of this is done by the PHA, part is done by the field office and part is done by the HUD superuser.

When a row/townhouse or semi-detached (duplex) is configured with more than one unit per entrance, it is incorrectly configured. To resolve the problem,

  1. The PHA adds the missing entrances in the normal manner
  2. The PHA submits the data for approval by the field office.
  3. Once the field office has approved it, it is ready for the superuser.
  4. The PHA completes the Reassign Unit spreadsheet template to indicate which unit number goes to each new entrance and submits it to the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) by email.
  5. The TAC will assign it to a superuser, who will review the template for accuracy and completeness then submit it for processing by the maintenance team.
  6. You will be notified when this has been completed.
Sample Reassign Unit template. All columns except comments must be filled in, one unit per row. Include only units who will be reassigned.
