The Department is providing for each PHA a report describing how it responded
to requests by PHAs to change their 1999 data through the 2007 certification process.
If your PHA recommended a change to its 1999 development data, it will be able
to see an explanation of why the Department either accepted or rejected the recommended
change (if
the Department accepted the proposed change to the 1999 data, the 2008 Capital
Fund Data Certification web page will show the corrected values in the 1999 data
fields). If
a PHA rejected certification for a development in 2007, it can determine whether
the Department accepted or rejected the change by viewing the Development Breakdown
Report for the rejected development under the 2007 Capital Fund PHA Reports and
comparing the report to the data submitted by the PHA. If a PHA has questions
about either the 1999 data report and/or the development breakdown report in relation
to the 2007 Capital Fund Data Certification process, it should e-mail the questions
to PIH_OCI@hud.gov.
Reminder: the deadline for submission of 2008 Capital Fund Data Certifications
is February 22, 2008. To
