This page provides information related to the transition funding amounts under the final rule. As per 24 CFR 990, Subpart F, PHAs that gain under the new formula receive their higher amounts over two years; PHAs that decline receive a five-year phase-in. The Department published a rule (see below) amending these phase-in schedules from the final rule that was published September 19, 2005. Approximately 74% of PHAs gain under the new formula and 24% decline.
