Call-Center and Call-Center Committee

 Information by State
 Print version

Call-Center and Call-Center Committee

For your convenience, the Office of Public and Indian Housing (PIH) has created a toll-free telephone call-center ("the Call-Center") to receive telephone inquiries from public housing authorities (PHA's) or tribally designated housing entities (TDHE's) that may have an interest in modernizing or constructing elderly-designated public housing stock.

The Call-Center will receive inquiries and refer them to a PIH Call Center Committee Chairperson, who in return, will refer the inquiries to appropriate members of a PIH Call Center Committee.

The PIH Call-Center Committee ("the Committee") is composed of PIH representatives who will respond to the Call-Center inquiries and provide the appropriate HUD sponsored technical assistance. The Committee will consist of:

 -   PIH Field Operations
 -   PIH Field Representatives
 -   PIH Office of Policy, Program and Legislative Initiatives
 -   PIH Supportive Services and Grant Programs
(Resident Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency - ROSS )
 -   PIH Office of Native American Programs (ONAP)
 -   PIH Office of Public Housing and Voucher Programs (Operating Subsidy)
 -   PIH Public Housing Management and Occupancy Division
 -   PIH Housing Voucher Management and Operations Division (Vouchers)
 -   PIH Public Housing Investments (Hope VI)
 -   PIH Capital Funding Division

The Call-Center will also link PHA's or TDHE's to the appropriate State Medicaid Agencies to support them in obtaining information on State Medicaid waivers, Medicaid reimbursement protocol, and other Medicaid information relating to service-enriched elderly housing. Please call us toll-free from 9:00a.m.to 6:00p.m, Monday through Friday, at (888) 245-8938 for further information.
