There have been known issues with viewing or printing PDF files particularly when using the Netscape 4.7x web browser. While some might prefer to use the Internet Explorer 5.x web browser which resolves these issues, others might not have this option. For those who use Netscape 4.7 and are experiencing this problem, we have compiled a list of suggestions and workarounds which should resolve the problems related to viewing and printing PDF files. As always, should you have other problems with PHA Plans, do not hesitate to Email PHA Plans Support.

Downloading a PDF File to Your Hard Drive

In most cases, downloading the PDF file to your hard drive should resolve the issues you have experienced when trying to view the file from within Netscape 4.7x. You can download PDF files to the hard disk either from a Web page link or by using the Save As command in an Acrobat viewer.

Follow the instructions below:

After you download a PDF file to the hard disk, you can copy text, distribute the file, or save the file to a disk.

To download a PDF file from a link:
1. Right-click the link to a PDF file and choose Save Link As from the pop-up menu.
2. In the Save As dialog box, select a location on the hard disk, and then click Save.

To download an open PDF file:
1. Choose File > Save As.
2. In the Save As dialog box, select a location on the hard disk, and then click Save.

Once you download the PDF file to your hard drive, you can open and view it directly using Acrobat Reader. This should solve most problems with viewing and printing PDF files.
