Overview

PHAs will receive grants to establish and operate new Neighborhood Networks centers for public housing residents or update and expand existing computer technology centers to become Neighborhood Networks centers. Computer centers operating in public housing developments or planned for public housing developments will receive assistance to secure the necessary space, computer hardware, software and peripherals necessary to operate self-sustaining NN centers. Conversion to NN centers will be part of the propose grant for existing and new computer centers.

Recipients:Public Housing Authorities are eligible to apply for this funding category. Tribes/TDHEs, nonprofit organizations, and resident associations are not eligible to apply for this funding category.
