The Office of Administrative Law Judges is responsible for hearing a number of different types of cases. These cases arise from several different statutory and regulatory schemes. They include housing discrimination cases, Mortgagee Review Board sanctions, suspension and debarment matters, civil money penalty actions, and Program Fraud Civil Remedies Act actions.

In addition, judges may hear cases originating with other federal agencies pursuant to a memorandum of understanding. Examples of other agencies for which we have provided judges include the Departments of Agriculture and Education, and the Office of Personnel Management.
