This site contains numerous technical curricula for download, including HUD program-specific courses on lead-based paint program requirements.

Technical Training
 -   Visual Assessment Course: An online, self-paced training module for people performing visual assessments for deteriorating paint, dust, and debris.
 -   Sampling Technician curriculum for delivery by EPA- or State-accredited Inspector or Risk Assessor Training Providers.
Lead Safe Work Practices Curricula (developed by HUD)
 -   Lead Safety for Remodeling, Repair, and Painting: A Joint EPA-HUD Course
This course meets HUD’s requirement for Lead Safe Work Practices training for work in federally-assisted housing.Now available in English and Spanish
 -   EPA's Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule
This course was developed by the U.S. EPA, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to train renovation, repair, and painting contractors how to work safely in housing with lead-based paint and comply with EPA's Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule, and HUD's Lead Safe Housing Rule. Below are links for the initial renovator model training course materials. This course should be used for individuals needing EPA certification as renovators.  -   HUD's Renovation and Remodeling Course
A 1-day version of the previous HUD/NARI Course developed by the National Association of Remodeling Industry.
 -   Updated Lead Operations and Maintenance Course
Update by HUD of the National Environmental Training Association course originally developed under a grant from U.S. EPA and HUD, called "The Lead-Based Paint Maintenance Training Course: Work Smart, Work Wet, and Work Clean to Work Lead Safe."
