Mortgagee Letter 06-15, dated June 8, 2006, announced HUD's requirements for reporting all FHA mortgages that are (or were) 30 or more days delinquent. This information is sent to HUD's Single Family Default Monitoring System (SFDMS). These revised reporting requirements were effective for the October, 2006 reporting cycle, which began November 1, 2006.

Mortgagee Letter 09-39, dated Ocotber 9, 2009, announced updated default status codes and Claim Filing Assistance for Loss Mitigation Claims.
