Bank of America. America/Works is a national initiative of Bank of America created to foster innovative workforce development solutions to help people move from poverty to self-sufficiency. Through America/Works, Bank of America provided onsite financial literacy training to the Wheatland Community Learning Center (Dallas, Texas) and the Grier Park Community Center (Charlotte, North Carolina) based upon the needs of their residents. Training participants attended monthly financial literacy classes on topics such as homeownership, credit repair, and banking basics. Visit the America/Works Web site for more information.
