Read below to learn about unique and exciting local partnerships formed by Neighborhood Networks centers:

The Neighborhood Networks center at the Crescent Park Apartments in Richmond, California, is an example of a successful partnership with foundations. The center features a large classroom/conference room with satellite and video conferencing capabilities, office space, and a multipurpose room with kitchen and fireplace. The computer center has 20 networked Pentium III computers, black and white and color printers, a scanner, and Internet access and capacity for distance-learning programs via satellite. All this was made possible with $600,000 in support from nine foundations.

By identifying foundation resources and actively approaching and developing partnerships and grant opportunities, Neighborhood Networks centers can open up new revenue sources to fund programs and center operations.
