Dennison is a global leader in pressure-sensitive technology, self-adhesive
base materials, and self-adhesive consumer and office products.
The company is best known for its Avery brand office automation
and consumer products, Fasson-brand self-adhesive materials, reflective
and graphic materials, peel-and-stick postage stamps, industrial
labeling solutions, specialty tapes, and performance polymers. The
company employs more than 30,000 people at more than 150 manufacturing
and distribution facilities in more than 60 countries. In 2007,
the company's sales were $6.3 billion, and Avery Dennison ranked
number 412 on the 2006 Fortune 500 list of the largest U.S. industrial

consideration is given to organizations located in geographic areas
in which the company has facilities and to organizations in which
company employees actively participate. Grants are made on an annual
basis with no renewals implied.

Eligibility:
The company provides grants to nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3)
tax-exempt status.

Advertising in charitable publications.

Application Process: All applications from organizations
requesting financial assistance must be in writing and include:

Statement of the organization's purpose and background.
|
|
Description of the project, which should include:
|
Project goals and method of achieving the
goals. |
|
Itemized budget for the project.
|
|
Specific amount requested.
|
|
Project timetable.
|
|
Standards for evaluating the project's effectiveness.
|
|
A copy of the Internal Revenue Service determination
letter designating the organization as a nonprofit, tax-exempt
organization, meeting the requirements of IRS 501(c)(3),
as well as a copy of the IRS ruling stating that the organization
is not a private foundation as defined in IRS Section 509(a)
of the Code.

List of the board of directors.

|
A current financial statement, preferably
audited.
|
|
A list of current contributions with giving
levels. |
|
Multiple
requests from one organization in a calendar year are discouraged.
Rejection of a proposal should not be construed as a negative reaction
to a particular organization or project, but rather as a choice
on the part of the company to use its limited resources alternatively.

Deadlines:
Ongoing. Generally, following receipt of a proposal, final decision
