Neighborhood Networks Week 2009 is just one month away! How will your center participate in this U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-sponsored national observance that increases awareness of the Initiative and pays tribute to all those who contribute and reap the benefits of Neighborhood Networks? Is your center hosting a special event? Will your center be part of the virtual audience for one of the national events being Web cast by HUD? Whatever your plans, Neighborhood Networks hopes you will take part in this weeklong observance that honors all those involved in the Initiative and highlights why Neighborhood Networks centers are truly community assets.

More information on Neighborhood Networks Week 2009, as well as resources designed to help centers plan successful local events, can be found on the Neighborhood Networks Web site or by calling the Neighborhood Networks Information Center toll-free at (888) 312-2743. The hearing impaired may access the number via TTY by calling the Federal Information Relay Service at (800) 877-8339.
