Have you been wondering how your center can participate in Neighborhood
Networks Week 2009? How about hosting a local event? What about
joining fellow Neighborhood Networks stakeholders from around the
country for one of the national events that will be Web cast by
the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)? No matter
how you participate, Neighborhood Networks Week is your time to
shine.
Neighborhood Networks Week 2009 is scheduled for August 3-8. The
weeklong national observance is the ideal time to pay tribute to
all those who dedicate their time and energy to making the Initiative
a success, recognize the achievements of those who take advantage
of the resources offered at their local Neighborhood Networks center,
promote center programs and success, increase awareness of the Initiative,
and strengthen the community.
