Neighborhood Networks Week 2009: Know Your Neighbors Day

Today, Neighborhood Networks observes Know Your Neighbors Day as part of Neighborhood Networks Week 2009. On Know Your Neighbors Day, centers will host events that strengthen the bonds of neighbors to build stronger communities, such as block parties, potlucks, barbecues, festivals, or open houses.

More information on Neighborhood Networks Week 2009 and a schedule of events can be found on the Neighborhood Networks Web site or by calling the Neighborhood Networks Information Center toll-free at (888) 312-2743. The hearing impaired may access the number via TTY by calling the Federal Information Relay Service at (800) 877-8339.
