Help Us Make the Neighborhood Networks 15th Anniversary National Training Conference One to Remember!

In 2010, Neighborhood Networks will celebrate 15 years of success. To recognize this significant milestone, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is planning a Neighborhood Networks National Training Conference that is shaping up to be like no other educational experience. However, the planning process would not be complete if we did not seek the input of Neighborhood Networks supporters such as you.

As a presenter at the 2009 Neighborhood Networks Regional Technical Assistance Workshops (RTAWs), your direct interaction with RTAW attendees allowed you to gain an up-close perspective of what attendees need and want, making you uniquely qualified to guide the planning of the Neighborhood Networks 15th Anniversary National Training Conference. Neighborhood Networks hopes you will share your RTAW experience with us so that we may make the Neighborhood Networks 15th Anniversary National Training Conference a valuable and memorable learning opportunity for all attendees.

On Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. EST, Neighborhood Networks invites you to participate in a telephone-based focus group with other 2009 RTAW presenters. During the focus group discussion, you will be asked to identify ways we can improve the learning experience and make it more educationally enriching for participants. We are also interested in learning if RTAW attendees expressed to you a common interest or challenge that warrants the addition of a new session or extending the length of an existing session.

To participate, dial (800) 524–3357 and ask to be connected to the “Neighborhood Networks Focus Group call.” Please be prepared to give the operator your contact information. If you have any questions, contact Paloma Costa at (888) 312–2743, or via e-mail. Also, you can provide your suggestions for the National Training Conference by sending an e-mail.

Thank you in advance for your participation, input, and help in making the Neighborhood Networks 15th Anniversary National Training Conference a success.
