Travel and overnight lodging expenses for owner representatives, management staff, Neighborhood Networks staff, and resident representatives to attend the RTAW may be allowable project expenses. Assigned HUD Project Managers should be contacted for a determination.

Reservations
Participants should contact the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia Hotel directly at (800) 241–3333 or (215) 523–8262 to make sleeping room reservations. Ask for the “Neighborhood Networks” room block to receive the special rate of $155 (plus 15.2% tax per room night) for a single or double occupancy room. Up to four persons can stay in one room without an additional fee. This rate is available from July 12–17, 2009, based on availability. There are a limited number of rooms at this rate, so please make your reservations early. Wednesday, June 17, 2009, is the last day to receive the special rate. When making your reservations, please make the hotel aware of any accessibility needs you may have.

Cancellation Policy: When reserving a room ahead of time with a debit or credit card, no funds will be held. Cancellations must be made by 12 noon EDT on the day of arrival otherwise the guest will be charged a cancellation fee of one night, plus tax.

The deadline to register for the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania RTAW is Monday, July 6, 2009.

Airport Information, Transportation, and Hotel Parking

The Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia Hotel is a 20-minute ride from the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).

 -   Taxi service is available for an average one-way cost of $29 from PHL.
 -   Shuttle service is available for an average one-way cost of $12. Lady Liberty Shuttle can be reached by calling (215) 724–8888 or online.
 -   Rental cars from Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, and National are available at PHL at Zone 2 outside the baggage claim area.

30th Street Train Station is located 10 blocks from the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia Hotel.

 -   Taxi service is available for an average one-way cost of $14 from the 30th Street Station.
 -   Rental Cars from Avis, Budget, Hertz and National are available at 30th Street Station.

Hotel Parking at the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia Hotel is $46, plus tax, for overnight and $28 for partial day stays (the hotel only offers valet parking). There are two privately owned parking lots within three blocks of the hotel at South Broad Street and 15th Street. The maximum daily rate at these parking lots is $35.

Directions

From Philadelphia International Airport (PHL):
Take I-95 North. Take Exit 17 for State Hwy 611 North Broad Street towards Pattison Avenue. Merge onto South Broad Street/PA-611. The hotel is on the left.

From 30th Street Station:
Go east on Market Street/PA-3. Turn right at South 15th Street. Turn left at South Penn Square. Turn right at South Broad Street/Avenue of the Arts. The hotel is on the right.
