Description:

For those interested in incorporating workforce development into their Neighborhood Networks center programming, the Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (CFBCI) empowers faith-based and community organizations that help their neighbors prepare for, enter, and thrive in the workforce. The CFBCI does this by connecting organizations with funding opportunities. During this workshop session, participants will learn about the resources offered by the CFBCI. The workshop will include training on how to apply for U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) workforce development funding and information and strategies for partnering with a local workforce investment system.
