Description:
More
and more Americans are relying on the Internet for important health
information. Many individuals use the Internet to become more informed
and active health consumers. Others seek information about free
health resources for themselves and their family. And, senior Internet
users tend to search for information on various health topics and
prescription drugs, as well as seek support from others with similar
health concerns. This session provides information on online and
free health resources for residents, including the State Children's
Health Insurance Program, Medicare, Medicaid, and the Benefits Check-Up
Web site.
