Description:
Tracking
and evaluating program outcomes is one of the most useful actions
a center can take. When determining ways to sustain a program, center
directors can review the program evaluation to devise an action
plan for improvement. When applying for grants, program evaluation
surveys can be used to demonstrate to funders that the programs
offered by a center are having a positive impact on residents. Funders
also typically require grantees to track and evaluate the programs
they are supporting. This session teaches participants how to establish
an effective tracking and evaluation program that captures the data
funders want and that center staff need to improve center programs.
