Rural Neighborhood Networks centers face a completely different set of challenges than their counterparts in metropolitan areas. This workshop presents information about best practices, funders, partnerships, and solutions specifically targeted towards rural centers.

Kathryn Bryan has been in the field of real estate management for 21 years. She is currently the senior vice president of property management and resident services administration at Rural Opportunities Inc. (ROI). At ROI, Bryan oversees the asset management operations of 63 locations in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Puerto Rico with a total of more than 2,280 units. Bryan is also involved in the development process for new projects. Currently, ROI has more than 283 units under construction at 10 different locations. Bryan holds professional certifications in asset management, property management, low income housing tax credits, and has recently completed the Affordable Housing Professional Certificate Program and the CHAM Certified Housing Asset Manager Program.
