U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Conference Call: Neighborhood Networks Online Tools for Workforce Development Friday, August 5th at 2:00 p.m. (EDT)

- -
 Information by State
 Print version

The U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration staff will introduce the online workforce development tools that have been customized specifically for Neighborhood Networks centers, including the new Neighborhood Networks Career Coach.

The tools were developed as a result of a national partnership between DOL and HUD's Neighborhood Networks, formed to provide NN centers with information and access to available job-training and placement services. DOL's One-Stop Career Centers also provide job-readiness training, career planning sessions, and Internet job-search classes to Neighborhood Networks centers across the nation.

By participating in this call, participants will:

 -   Learn about and see the features of America's Service Locator, NN Career Coach, and other FREE DOL online tools.
 -   Discover the importance and benefits of working with One-Stops.
 -   Learn how to locate the One-Stop Career Center closest to their NN center.

Participating in this call is easy! Simply dial (888) 630-9270, and ask to be connected to the Neighborhood Networks Week conference call. Please be prepared to provide the operator with your name and location prior to being connected to the call.

Because this call will showcase online tools, please contact the Neighborhood Networks Information Center at (888) 312-2743 for additional sign-on instructions.
