Multifamily Endorsement Counts by Lender

If you have a question about Multifamily initial endorsements e-mail us. For other questions about HUD programs click on "contact us' on the brown topics bar on the left side of the page.

The links below produce counts of multifamily loans initially endorsed for FHA insurance during the fiscal period indicated. A loan is initially endorsed when all parties have agreed upon the design, costs & mortgage assumptions and any construction is ready to begin.

At least two reports are available for each period: one covering all loans made during the fiscal period and one covering just loans made by the highest volume lenders. The reports generally count loans by program category and by lender named in the note HUD endorsed .

These reports are part of larger sites that provide counts by other factors – Multifamily HUB, state, activity (refi, new construction), etc. You can access these sites and related iformation by clicking on Multifamily Data (listed at the top of this page in the horizontal navigation bar or "crumb trail.")

Note: Loan data was drawn from HUD’s Development Application Processing system (DAP). Related companies are reported separately if FHA’s lender approval system carries them under separate lender ID numbers. Lenders should report purchases and consolidations not reflected in this data to FHA’s Lender Approval office.
