State Licensing

Many states require facilities that provide assisted living to be licensed by the state. Licensure categories vary by state. Please check with your appropriate state regulatory or licensing agency to determine those requirements.

 -   The American Public Human Services Association website has information about your state's Medicaid program, including relevant provider requirements.
 -   State Regulation Contacts from the NCB Development Corporation. Select "State Regulations Search" from the menu bar.
